A 5/16″ double square offset reversible wrench with E-Z Grip handle. Insert the release tool under the button of the pull-pawl to disengage the anti-reverse mechanism on the slack adjuster. (Spring tension of the pull-pawl will hold the tool in place.) Then use the wrench to adjust the brake to drum clearance.Insert the forked end of the Automatic Slack Adjuster Release Tool under the button of the pull pawl on the Automatic Slack Adjuster.Push the tool in until fully seated against the post. Note: Do not pry with this tool.The fork is designed to release the Automatic Slack Adjuster’s anti-reverse mechanism without prying.Spring tension of the pull pawl will hold the tool in place.Use the Automatic Slack Adjuster wrench to adjust the brake to drum clearance.
