Used to hold the crankshaft on 2.5L (non-turbo) DOHC. On the 2.5L engines, this works on models that have crank pulley Subaru part #12305AA251. If your car is equipped w/ pulley #12305AA242, please see #SU499977400. IMPORTANT NOTE: In some cases, various repair manuals & services call for the #499977100, but is not the correct tool needed.
